The whirlwind

The dog is barking as a sign of life
Everlasting lived without any fears
Tomorrow we shall stop and remember
What loving the neighbour is really about
Where the tossing and turning for answers
Can stop for a moment of reflection

On relative values in earthly life
As retained by the signs made by a cross
At the intersection of bar and post
As the whirlwind blows a dance round their forms
On how we are made that way to wait and see
On the hidden meanings of sacrifice
