Real Life

Yellow dawns and twilights are something new
Caused by the changes in the atmosphere
The mood of the evil hours are charged
With the effervescence of an angry zeal
Of romance tarnished by knowingness
In the nakedness of the flight from good
Into an abstract zone rising falling
Betting on the price of infatuation
With Julie's photogenic succulence
The memories and letters are left to burn
In the dimmed laboratories of free love
Under the caprice of the half lit moon

The extremities are best when polar
Their magnetic powers must somehow dilute
Into a good working relationship
At the common ground of contrary moods
Boys and girls know this by born natures
Like the paprika which they both so like
And yet one can't escape that still feeling
That certain things may be best kept apart
And the strongest should not dominate
Yet forces are harder to resist
When riches make stomachs the kings
And pirates call their jobs the Real Life
