The bane of modern society are the self anointed online 'influencers'. If this is not proof that utopia too will have a hierarchy, then I give up. I mean, women who publish intimate details of their mundane lives must be narcissistic. It is bad enough that it is actually more entertaining watching a guy who loves aeroplanes enjoy himself than watching professional sport. What about those who sacrifice the confidentiality of their own being, showing off their babies and husbands to a ravenous public, inspired by some vague sense of civic duty to entertain others by revealing themselves?

There are actually any number of podcasters making numbing videos of airline trips, making a big deal of the differences between Boing and Airbus, the 747 and the A380, between 777, 787 and the A350, between Cathay Pacific and Singapore Airlines, Business Class, Premium Economy and how Japan Air Lines displays the whole range of its nation's virtues inside an enclosed cabin floating in the air some 35,000 feet above sea level, then there is Sam Chui.

Sam Chui is fascinated with civil aviation. This comes through in his videos and what is enviable is how he has evolved a boyhood passion into making a good living from pursuing what he loves:
